Live Demos
Safety training will never be the same.
Most safety training is boring. To provide engaging, memorable, and impactful safety training, Live Safety Demos give workers the experience of an injury without actual harm. The demos incorporate hyper-realistic human body parts, physical simulations of tools and equipment, and high-speed videography.
Be in the know.
We have conducted extensive research in a variety of areas, ranging from safety training to artificial intelligence. Our expertise was formed through years of academic research and has been validated by numerous publications in top-tier peer-reviewed scientific journals and conferences.
We take pride in our unique ability to translate our research to practice. Below you can learn more about the evidence-based resources that we have developed.
Energy-Based Safety
See, prioritize, and control energy.
Every injury is the result of undesirable contact between a worker and a source of energy. The more energy you have, the more serious the injury will be. The energy wheel helps crews detect hazards that are traditionally hidden, and the concept of energy can be used to objectively identify hazards with SIF potential. The concept of energy is also a critical component of the new EEI Safety Learning and Classification (SCL) Model.
SafetyAI
If you can predict it, you can prevent it.
We process the observation and injury reports that you already collect to allow visualization and analysis. We train predictive models to support pre-job safety meetings. The ongoing R&D projects of the SafetyAI council include ChatSafetyAI, pre-job safety meeting summarization and automatic paperwork filling, and hazard and energy source identification in photos and videos (computer vision).
Precursor Analysis
Predict SIF events through strategic field safety engagements.
By asking the right questions during Field Safety Engagements, management can identify if the ingredients of a serious incident or fatality (SIF event) are present before the work begins. This method created for the general construction industry and later customized for power generation and delivery, oil and gas, elevators, and pipeline construction.
Leading Indicators
Moving beyond TRIR to measure true safety performance.
By tracking the quality and quantity of what we do to keep our workers safe, we can predict, manage, and celebrate safety success. Our leading indicators have been validated as predictive via nearly a decade of research. We serve as the technical advisors to the Edison Electric Institue and the INGAA Foundation as they transform how their sectors measure, benchmark, and reward safety performance.
